Ingredients
- 8 slices Indiana Kitchen Natural Hardwood Smoked Thick Cut Bacon
- 8 chicken drumsticks
- 2 tbsp. olive oil
- 1/2 tbsp. dried rosemary
- 1/4 tbsp. dried parsley
- salt and pepper to taste
Servings: drumsticks
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
- Poke the chicken a few times to help with cooking and rub with olive oil.
- Sprinkle the rosemary, parsley, salt and pepper to season.
- Rub with olive oil again and roll one slice of bacon onto each drumstick.
- Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and put back in the oven, until cooked through (roughly another 30 minutes).
Recipe Notes
Some people prefer to take the skin off of the chicken, but it works either way.
