Some people call this time of year “spring.” Others know it as “Asparagus Season.” What better way to enjoy these beautiful green shoots than wrapped in Indiana Kitchen bacon?
Indiana Kitchen bacon
sliced in half down the center
20 stalks trimmed at the bottom
Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and line baking pan with foil.
Rinse asparagus and cut ends.
Cut bacon strips in half down the center, creating two thinner, individual strips.
Wrap each piece of asparagus with one thin strip of bacon.
Place bacon-wrapped asparagus on pan. Sprinkle salt and pepper on top and bake for about 20-25 minutes.
Remove from oven and serve.
