Avocado BLTs
Well, look who just got fancy? The BLT: a summer staple whose flavor just went up a notch.
Ingredients
- 4 slices bread, lightly toasted (asiago, sourdough, croissant—endless possibilities)
- 1 large tomato, sliced
- 4 lettuce leaves
- 1/2 sliced avocado
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 6 slices Indiana Kitchen bacon, cooked
Servings:
Instructions
- Cook bacon, as desired.
- Lightly toast bread, as bacon cooks.
- Spread mayonnaise onto bread.
- Add lettuce, tomatoes, avocado and bacon.
- Top with other slice of bread.
