Easy-Peasy Hot Ham & Cheesy Sandwiches
In addition to the ingredients listed, give your sandwich a twist with mustard, pineapple, sliced onions, bacon or maybe even a little sweet-and-sour sauce. You’re only limited by your imagination!
Ingredients
- 4 sandwich buns
- 8 oz. Indiana Kitchen ham sliced into four 2 oz. slices
- 4 slices cheddar cheese

Instructions
- Tear 4 pieces of aluminum foil large enough to wrap each sandwich well.
- On top of each piece of foil, assemble sandwich with 2 oz. of ham, 1 slice of cheese, and any other ingredients you’d like to add. Wrap sandwich completely in foil. Repeat for each sandwich.
- To cook, place sandwiches over hot coals or on a grill rack until hot—about 20 minutes, depending upon the temperature of your fire. Let cool slightly, carefully unwrap—and eat.
- Serve with sliced veggies and chips.
