Crockpot Bacon Wrapped Smokies
These salty-sweet finger-food treats are all the craze at football events, holiday parties, and really any other kind of gathering you could think of!
Ingredients
- 1 pkg. Little smokies 13 oz.
- 1 pkg. Indiana Kitchen bacon 16 oz.
- 1 3/4 cup brown sugar
Servings: smokies
Instructions
- Pour 1 cup of brown sugar on the bottom of your crockpot.
- Cut strips of Indiana Kitchen bacon into thirds.
- Wrap each strip of bacon around 1 little smokie, then poke a toothpick through to keep it in place.
- Place Bacon Wrapped Smokies into crockpot.
- Cover smokies in crockpot by sprinkling on remaining ¾ cup brown sugar.
- Cook on high for approximately 3 – 3.5 hours, or until bacon is completely cooked.
- Occasionally move smokies around in crockpot to ensure they cook evenly.
